Karachi Police Unveils Robust Security Plan for Rabi-ul-Awal Procession
In preparation for the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal procession, Karachi Police has rolled out an impressive security strategy to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the event. A total of 4,332 officers will be stationed along the procession routes, with a significant focus on Nishtar Park, the epicenter of the celebrations, where approximately 450 officers and staff will be deployed.
The police will utilize a fleet of 160 vehicles, including 70 motorcycles and 76 mobile units, to patrol the city and maintain order. Additionally, Karachi Police Special Security Unit (SSU) teams will be on high alert to address any emergent needs swiftly. To ease traffic flow, alternative routes have been planned for the day.
Authorities are calling on citizens to assist and cooperate with the security personnel to help ensure a successful and orderly event.
