Jeff Bezos, the billionaire Amazon founder, has recently purchased a Gulfstream G700, a luxurious business jet valued at $80 million. This high-tech aircraft features 20 panoramic windows and a cabin designed for exceptional comfort, with a quiet atmosphere and continuously refreshed air.
The jet was recently spotted departing from Ibiza, where Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, were seen. Public flight records reveal that the jet completed 28 flights in just 39 days, contributing to a carbon footprint that is 17 times greater than that of the average American.
In response to concerns about environmental impact, Bezos’ team has noted that he compensates for the jet’s emissions through carbon offsets and the use of sustainable aviation fuel.
