Introducing Pakistan’s First AI Influencer: Shabnam Xai
Almost everyone has an AI influencer these days, and Pakistan is no exception. Meet Shabnam Xai, Pakistan’s first AI influencer with over 8,000 Instagram followers.
Shabnam’s Instagram bio describes her as a digital creator and an MBA candidate at LUMS. Based in Islamabad, she shares content about food, fitness, travel, and more. She has been active on her account since July 16.
Her posts showcase her in various locations across northern Pakistan, like Skardu and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as in countries like France and Spain. One photo even shows her supporting Gaza with the caption, “Palestine, Where my Heart is.”
While some photos may show Shabnam looking different due to common issues with AI-generated images, most of them are quite convincing. This has led to mixed reactions from her audience, with some praising her appearance and others noting that she doesn’t quite look like a typical Pakistani model.
