An international flight traveling from Sharjah to Dhaka was compelled to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport after a 42-year-old passenger passed away during the journey.
According to airport sources, the passenger’s health deteriorated abruptly, prompting the pilot to request an emergency landing. Karachi’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) swiftly approved the request, allowing flight G-9512 to land safely at Karachi airport, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Upon arrival, a medical team from the CAA boarded the aircraft to assess the situation but unfortunately confirmed the passenger’s death. The CAA followed standard procedures, transferring the deceased to the airline.
The flight was held at Karachi airport for approximately two hours before resuming its route to Dhaka.
