Vikas Sethi, a prominent figure in Indian television known for his roles in hit soaps like *Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi* and *Kahiin To Hoga*, has passed away at the age of 48. He died on Sunday, September 8, after suffering a cardiac arrest while sleeping at his Mumbai residence. His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Sethi, who gained acclaim for his work in daily soaps and several Bollywood films, had been struggling with health issues in recent years, including a leg surgery in 2021. Despite his efforts to share motivational and fitness content on social media, industry insiders have revealed that he faced significant challenges with depression and financial difficulties.
In addition to his acting career, Sethi recently ventured into film production with his company, CK Pictures. Unfortunately, his personal and health struggles seemed to overshadow his professional ambitions.
One of his final social media posts was a touching tribute to his mother, celebrating Mother’s Day with a heartfelt message: “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY. MOM LOVE YOU (sic).”
Sethi’s filmography includes notable titles such as *Oops!*, *Deewanapan*, and *Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham*. He is survived by his wife, Jhanvi, and their twin children.
