On Thursday, Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, the prayer leader of Masjid-e-Nabawi, arrived in Pakistan for a week-long official visit.
He was warmly welcomed at Islamabad International Airport by Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Secretary of Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Haider, and other officials.
During his visit, Dr. Al-Budair will lead Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque. He will also meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and other key figures. Additionally, he will have discussions with Pakistani religious scholars.
Minister Salik mentioned that this visit will strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and boost religious and cultural cooperation.
Dr. Al-Budair has visited Pakistan frequently in the past, and these visits have helped improve relations between the two countries.
