Hyderabad Man Dies After Five-Day Power Outage
In a tragic incident, a man died after a five-day power outage due to a faulty transformer.
The incident happened in Allah Dad Chand Goth, under Phuleli Police Station’s jurisdiction. The community has been suffering without electricity, especially with the recent heatwave.
Residents couldn’t get water to bathe the deceased and had to buy water for the ritual washing. Despite paying their electricity bills, they have no power. They claim HESCO (Hyderabad Electric Supply Company) staff demanded 60,000 rupees to repair the transformer. Even after paying, the repair wasn’t done.
This tragedy shows the need for better infrastructure and accountability in utility services to prevent such events in the future.
