How to Register for the Honahar Scholarship Program
The Honahar Scholarship Program is now open for university students in Punjab, aiming to support 30,000 deserving individuals annually across 68 disciplines. With an impressive total scholarship value expected to reach Rs130 billion over the next four years, this initiative will aid around 120,000 students from 50 public sector universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges, as well as top private universities.
Key Information:
1. Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Performance: Applicants must achieve at least 80% in their most recent examination.
– Family Income: The annual income should not exceed Rs2.5 lakh.
– Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab and provide proof of residence.
2. Online Application Process:
– Registration: Visit the official scholarship portal and create an account using a valid email address and phone number.
– Application Form: Complete the online form with personal, academic, and financial details.
– Document Upload: Scan and upload necessary documents, including academic transcripts, proof of income, and identification.
– Submission: Review your application before submitting. A reference number will be generated for tracking purposes.
3. Document Verification:
– The scholarship committee will verify all submitted applications and documents.
4. Interview (if necessary):
– Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
