Hamad International Airport in Qatar Named World's Best Airport

Doha’s Hamad International Airport has been named the world’s best airport by Skytrax, a research firm based in London. This honor was awarded during the 2024 World Airport Awards at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Frankfurt, Germany. Previously held by Changi Airport in Singapore, this is the third time Hamad International Airport has won the title, having also been recognized in 2021 and 2022.
The award was based on a survey conducted from August 2023 to February 2024, where travelers rated their experiences in areas like check-in, shopping, security, immigration, and departures.
While Changi Airport no longer holds the global title, it still excels in Asia, particularly praised for its immigration services. The Crowne Plaza Changi Airport hotel was also honored as the best airport hotel for the ninth time.
