Google has launched a new program called AI Academy to support AI startups in Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific region. The goal is to boost innovation and partnerships, helping these startups develop AI solutions and make the region a global AI hub.
The AI Academy will bring together over 20 startups working on AI technologies. Participants will receive guidance from Google’s AI experts and up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits to support their AI projects. They will also have chances to network with other AI startups in the region.
The program aims to help startups quickly develop and validate their AI solutions, speeding up their path to market and showcasing their innovations.
Google Pakistan’s Country Director, Farhan S Qureshi, highlighted the program’s importance for strengthening the AI ecosystem in Asia-Pacific, encouraging local startups to apply by August 16.
