Girl Drowns in Bahria Town While Heading to Office
A 20-year-old woman named Hamra drowned in a storm drain in Bahria Town Phase 6 today while riding her scooter to work.
Hamra, from Ghauri Town, lost control of her scooter due to a strong water current and fell into the storm drain, which swept her into a nearby nullah.
Rescue 1122 teams quickly began searching for her. Despite their efforts, they eventually recovered Hamra’s body, though her scooter is still missing. The search has now been extended to the Swan River area.
