Gamers Alert: New Intel CPUs May Have Serious Issues

Alderon Games, the studio behind the multiplayer dinosaur survival game *Path of Titans*, has accused Intel of selling defective CPUs, citing data to support their claims. The game’s servers, which use Intel’s 13th and 14th Gen processors, are experiencing frequent crashes, instability, and memory corruption, even affecting SSD data and unrelated tests.

The studio has abandoned Intel’s latest processors due to these issues and advises others to switch to AMD. Despite RAD Game Tools suggesting the problem might be limited, Alderon Games is taking precautions by moving to AMD CPUs.

The controversy around Intel’s 13th and 14th Gen processors began with crashes on home PCs and has expanded to server stability concerns. Intel initially blamed overclocking settings for home crashes, but this explanation doesn’t apply to servers. A Digital Extremes developer noted that most crashes seem to be due to driver failures, though a recent BIOS update has reportedly resolved some issues, challenging Intel’s previous claims.
