The flight crew acted promptly, following standard safety protocols by notifying the airport and ensuring a safe landing with all passengers and crew onboard.

“Our technical team is currently conducting a thorough inspection to identify the cause of the alarm,” the spokesperson stated, emphasizing that passenger and crew safety remains the airline’s top priority.

According to airport sources, the pilot requested emergency landing permission after smoke was detected in the cargo area. Fortunately, the aircraft landed safely, and all passengers were successfully evacuated. An investigation into the cause of the smoke is now underway.
