The FIA and Formula 1 have officially announced that the 2025 pre-season testing will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit. This venue has hosted pre-season testing six times since 2009, thanks to its favorable weather conditions and diverse track layout, which includes long straights and various corners.
Bahrain made history as the first Middle Eastern location to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2004. Over the past two decades, the 5.42-kilometer track has seen nine different winners from five teams, with prominent drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc among those who have triumphed here.
As the sport gears up for its 75th anniversary in 2025, the championship will kick off in Australia before moving on to China and Japan. In alignment with Formula 1’s goal of achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2030, a significant amount of freight will remain at the Bahrain International Circuit for the FORMULA 1 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2025, set for April 11-13, marking the fourth round of the season.
