DeafTawk, a leading organization in Pakistan dedicated to enhancing communication for the deaf community, and Sightsavers, an international advocate for disability inclusion, have proudly introduced the third cohort of the Innovation Challenge Futuremakers (ICF) program. As Pakistan’s first fast-track acceleration program for individuals with disabilities, ICF continues to innovate by fostering a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs, offering a combination of virtual and in-person support to nurture startup growth and resilience.
Following a thorough selection process that attracted applications from across the country, the third cohort features a range of startups proposing groundbreaking solutions to address industry-specific challenges. These innovative ventures aim to improve banking accessibility for the visually impaired, transform rental market dynamics, and more, promising significant impact in their respective fields.
At the orientation session, Risham Arif Raja, Country Manager of DeafTawk, expressed enthusiasm about the new cohort, stating, “We are thrilled to launch the third cohort of Innovation Challenge Futuremakers. This group of startups demonstrates remarkable innovation and entrepreneurial spirit within the disability community in Pakistan. Through the ICF program, we are dedicated to providing these talented entrepreneurs with the resources necessary to succeed and create a meaningful social and economic impact.”
