The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has signed a major agreement with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) to launch a new curriculum in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) for primary school students.
The agreement was formalized at a ceremony in Islamabad, with Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, in attendance.
This initiative aims to provide young students with crucial 21st-century skills and promote technological literacy from an early age. The event also featured Education Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani and other key officials from FDE and NUST.
The education secretary highlighted that the project will integrate advanced technology education into the primary school curriculum, marking a significant step towards modernizing education in Pakistan.
