According to reports, at least three Pakistani students have tragically lost their lives, and hundreds more have been injured in what appears to be a deliberate attack by violent groups during a clash between local residents and Egyptian students in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s capital.
International media sources indicate that law enforcement personnel were deployed overnight across various parts of Bishkek as large crowds gathered to protest an alleged altercation involving locals and foreigners.
Amid the chaotic confrontations, Pakistani students were also targeted. Barrister Saif, Advisor for Information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, confirmed the deaths of three Pakistani students.
Students residing in the Central Asian country have reported attacks on Pakistani student hostels, resulting in numerous injuries.
