Card for exporters and taxpayers launched

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a new scheme to reward top exporters and taxpayers with special privileges and benefits. It’s called the Pakistan Honour Card Scheme and it offers perks like faster immigration clearance, getting diplomatic passports, and access to VIP lounges at airports.
This scheme will be given to 65 deserving individuals and organizations who have excelled in exporting goods or paying taxes. These include companies, groups of people, and individual taxpayers who have received recognition from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The scheme is divided into different categories. It includes top taxpayers from various fields and sectors. Nine top exporters with the highest export earnings will get these cards. There are also categories for specific sectors like chemicals, food, machinery, etc.
Apart from traditional exports, those dealing with innovative products like IT or spices will also be eligible. The scheme also rewards those who have shown significant growth in their exports or have been consistent in paying taxes.
To qualify for the Pakistan Honour Card, taxpayers must meet certain conditions like paying taxes on time, not having any pending legal issues, and being compliant with tax regulations.
