Britain institute provides training to Pakistan’s airport staff

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) achieved an important goal with help from the British Transport Department, according to ARY News.

The British Transport Department conducted special training for airport staff, focusing on X-ray screening.

Now, trained staff can audit X-ray screening at airports. The training was for people from different departments like CAA, Customs, ASF, and PIA.

A ceremony celebrated participants who completed Image Recognition Computer-Based Training.

Dr. Jovital from the British High Commission attended the event as the chief guest.

Besides training, the British institute also provided modern equipment to improve airport security.

Shahid Qadir, CAA’s Security Director, thanked the British institute for their training and equipment.
