The Mahandri Bridge collapsed due to a landslide caused by heavy rain, blocking the main route between Balakot and Kaghan, as well as from Naran to Balakot.
Authorities are advising tourists to avoid this area for the next five days. Rebuilding the bridge is expected to take about a week, making travel difficult during this time.
Travelers heading to Murree should also postpone their trips because heavy rain has caused landslides on the motorway, making it unsafe.
Officials recommend staying cautious and checking for the latest updates on road conditions.
