The Forest and Environment Department staff spotted the corpse and alerted the police. Efforts are underway by police and rescue officials to retrieve the body from the ditch on Trail 5. The rescue department stated that an iron rod would be utilized in the recovery process.
Upon identification, Taha’s family rushed to the scene to confirm the body’s identity. Initial investigations suggest that the boy slipped into the ditch and sustained fatal injuries.
Present at the incident site are the Superintendent of Police (SP) city, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Rescue 1122, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) officials, as well as Wildlife and Forest Department teams.
