Bitcoin took a tumble, dropping 3.2% from $66,906 to $64,760 within just three hours, causing concern in the market. Although it managed a slight recovery above $65,000 later on, downward pressure persisted.

At 8:50 pm UTC, Bitcoin was trading at $65,131 with a market cap of $1.28 trillion, marking a 3% decrease over the past day. Despite this dip, Bitcoin’s price remains relatively high, hitting a 27-month peak.

Other cryptocurrencies followed suit, with most of the top ten coins experiencing declines of 3% to 5% during the same period.

Solana saw a significant drop from its recent high of $195 to a daily low of $176 before bouncing back to $179.

On the other hand, Ethereum’s decline was milder, slipping from $3,593 to $3,421 during the timeframe. As of now, the second-largest cryptocurrency is trading at $3,500.
