Bank Alfalah Limited has teamed up with UnionPay International to introduce Pakistan’s first UnionPay co-badge platinum debit card. This innovative card combines PayPak’s local benefits with UnionPay’s global reach, offering cardholders exclusive international privileges across 183 countries and regions.
The partnership was formalized in Istanbul, Turkey, where Bank Alfalah President and CEO Atif Bajwa and UnionPay International General Manager James Yang signed the agreement. The ceremony was attended by key figures from both organizations, including Bank Alfalah’s Mehreen Ahmed, Syed Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Qasim Rashid, and Abid Malik, as well as UnionPay International’s Nadeem Haroon and Ali Abbas.
Mehreen Ahmed, Bank Alfalah’s Group Head of Retail Banking, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We’re excited to partner with UnionPay International to offer our customers the PayPak co-badge debit card.
