The Bangladeshi cricket team, currently in Lahore for a two-Test series against Pakistan, is grappling with slow internet speeds, causing significant frustration. Despite being in Lahore for four days of training, the players are finding it challenging to stay connected with their families back home due to poor connectivity.
This connectivity issue has added to the team’s frustrations as they focus on their preparations for the upcoming matches.
While the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not received any official complaints from the Bangladeshi team management, the slow internet speeds have been an evident concern.
This problem is part of a broader trend, with Pakistan experiencing widespread slowdowns in internet speeds recently. According to the Wireless and Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan (WISPAP), there has been a notable 30 to 40 percent drop in internet speeds across the country in recent weeks. This decline has impacted both the general public and the visiting Bangladeshi cricketers.
The slow internet issue has compounded the challenges for the Bangladeshi players as they prepare for their Test series against Pakistan.
