Islamabad and Baku have teamed up to beautify several spots in the Pakistani capital through a new agreement.
On Thursday, horticulture experts from Baku met with CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa to start the renovation of four key areas in Islamabad: Srinagar Highway, Shakarparian, Saidpur Village, and Melody Food Park. The CDA’s environment teams will also work on landscaping other parts of the city.
Chairman Randhawa stressed the urgency of starting the beautification plan and instructed the CDA engineering team to support the Baku experts. Baku will provide horticulture tools and set up a nursery in Islamabad as part of this project. Specific timelines will be set for the renovations.
