ASF Thwarts Major Drug Smuggling Attempt at Karachi Airport
On Tuesday, the Airport Security Force (ASF) intercepted a significant drug smuggling attempt at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
ASF officials detained a passenger named Muhammad Shoaib after discovering 1.2 kilograms of heroin concealed in his luggage during a routine inspection. The swift action by ASF personnel led to the recovery of the narcotics and the prevention of the smuggling operation.
The suspect, along with the seized heroin—valued at millions on the international market—was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal proceedings.
