In the men’s javelin throw final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, held on Thursday at 11:25 pm Pakistani Standard Time (PST), Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters, ending a 32-year wait for his country.
The entire nation of Pakistan was filled with joy as people prayed for Arshad Nadeem’s victory. Celebrations erupted in his hometown, Mian Channu, while social media in Pakistan was flooded with congratulatory posts and pictures of him.
Nadeem secured his place in the final with a throw of 86.59 meters in the qualifying round.
