Arshad Nadeem Responds to Rumors About Entering Politics
Arshad Nadeem, the national hero who secured a gold medal for Pakistan in javelin at the Paris Olympics, has addressed speculation about his future political ambitions.
Upon his return to Pakistan, Nadeem was warmly greeted at Lahore Airport. When asked by a journalist about the possibility of joining politics, he firmly stated, “I will do what I have to do; I will not enter politics.”
Nadeem emphasized his commitment to his sport, saying, “I worked hard day and night to win the gold medal, and now I will focus on preparing diligently for future competitions.”
Nadeem’s return was celebrated nationwide, marking a significant achievement as he brought home Pakistan’s first Olympic gold medal in 40 years.
