Arshad Nadeem has made history by winning Pakistan’s first-ever individual Olympic gold medal in the javelin throw. Nadeem’s incredible throw of 92.97 meters set a new personal best and the longest distance ever recorded in the event.

In a thrilling final, India’s Neeraj Chopra secured the silver with a throw of 89.45 meters, and Grenada’s Anderson Peters took bronze with 87.87 meters. Nadeem’s earlier throw of 90 meters had already shattered his previous record from the World Athletics Championships, demonstrating his consistent growth and dominance.

Nadeem, who previously won silver at the 2023 World Championships and gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, has solidified his place as Pakistan’s brightest star in athletics.
