By the end of the trading day, Apple’s stock had risen 1.85%, making it not only the largest tech company by revenue but also the most valuable.

Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, a long-time Apple supporter, helped boost the stock with a report about the company’s investments in artificial intelligence. Apple’s market value reached $3.49 trillion, surpassing Microsoft’s $3.46 trillion, according to Nasdaq data.

Wedbush expects Apple’s ecosystem to become central to the upcoming AI boom. They believe major tech companies like Google and Meta (formerly Facebook) will need to adapt their AI software to work on Apple devices, positioning Apple as a key player in this technological shift.
