All banks across Pakistan will remain closed on September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) in observance of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW).

The Chairman of the Ruet Committee has confirmed that the moon for Rabiul Awwal was not sighted in Pakistan on Wednesday. Consequently, Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated on September 17, rather than the previously anticipated date of September 16.

In light of this, September 17 will be a public holiday, and all banking operations will be suspended nationwide. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is expected to issue an official notice regarding the bank closures shortly.

Eid Miladun Nabi is a significant occasion for Muslims, serving as a time for spiritual reflection and renewal. It is an opportunity for Muslims to reaffirm their commitment to the teachings of Islam and the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
