A local private airline has announced an expansion of its international flight operations to cater to a growing number of passengers traveling abroad from Pakistan.
According to reports, AirSial has decided to enhance its international flight operations after acquiring five modern aircraft on lease.
The reports further indicate that the airline’s management has been actively engaging with various aviation companies to finalize the procurement of these new planes. Additionally, the private airline intends to recruit additional staff, including pilots and cabin crew, to support its extended operations.
Recently, the cabinet approved AirSial to launch flights on seven new international routes. These routes encompass destinations in China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.
In other developments, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) released its recent six-month performance evaluation of domestic airlines, ranking the private airline at the bottom with a punctuality rating of 80.77 percent.
