Actress Noor Xarmina Wins Miss Universe Pakistan 2024 Title
Actress Noor Xarmina has been named Miss Universe Pakistan 2024 and will represent Pakistan at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in November. The announcement was made in a video on the official Miss Universe YouTube channel.
Noor Xarmina, a 29-year-old from Islamabad, recently returned to Pakistan after working as a venture capitalist and actor. With a background in biology and business, she aims to bring positive change to Pakistan and increase its international representation. She also wants to empower women in Pakistan and encourage strong female leadership.
Pakistani Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said he was unfamiliar with Xarmina’s background but indicated that her achievements and contributions could be reviewed for support. He mentioned that recognizing achievements is important, referencing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent acknowledgment of mountaineer Naila Kiyani.
Last year, Erica Robin was the first Pakistani to win the Miss Universe Pakistan title. The Miss Universe Pakistan pageant is organized by the Yugen Group of Dubai to select a representative for the Miss Universe contest. Noor Xarmina’s victory is seen as a significant achievement for Pakistan on the global stage.
