15 Well-Known Businesses Shut Down in Lahore
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out another crackdown on illegal commercial activities in Lahore. Due to unpaid commercialization fees on Monday, LDA teams sealed more than 15 businesses, including Lumiere, Sonia Azhar, various restaurants, showrooms, and private offices in Gulberg and Faisal Town. The operation was led by Director Sidra Tabassum from LDA Town Planning Zone-III, with support from the enforcement team and police.
Officials said that several notices had been issued to the building owners before this action. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed that the crackdown on violations of building and parking rules, encroachments, and illegal commercial activities in Lahore will continue.
